The permanent
ecological toilet
A permanent ecological toilet that blends with its environment while contributing to urban sustainability.
The permanent ecological toilet stands out for its use of a solar panel to power adequate ventilation, creating airflow that dries solid waste while reducing carbon footprint. Indeed, the Nixiloo system dries solid waste via a filter basket and separates liquids into a separate tank to evaporate them using the fan powered by the solar panel. Furthermore, the fact that no water is needed for flushing contributes to reducing the amount of urban waste and alleviating the burden on existing urban infrastructure.
A sturdy construction that withstands harsh weather conditions.
Our permanent ecological toilet models undergo several quality tests. These include evaluations of robustness, weather resistance, ventilation performance, and other critical aspects. Resistance to snow load and ice is also studied. The steel cabin is designed to withstand weather conditions thanks to its durable materials, providing effective protection against weather conditions. They can withstand snow loads throughout the winter, and their dark-colored sloped roof will help melt snow even during cold periods.
LONG LIFESPAN AND EASY DISPOSAL
The estimated lifespan of solar dry toilets depends on various factors such as regular maintenance and usage conditions, but the robust steel design and durable components aim to ensure optimal longevity for several years. With normal maintenance, the system will have a lifespan of approximately 15 years. Almost the entire cabin is recyclable. The structure made of steel, the floor, the polyethylene bowl, and the stainless-steel tank are 100% recyclable. Only the composite tank, which is a small part of the whole, will need to be disposed of properly.
